Good for smaller tank
Works really well to cool off my tank. I have a 3 gallon for my betta, but live in AZ so it can get hot so I didn’t want his tank to overheat. This works great! I use it with a temp sensor to turn on/off when out of temperature range and it’s efficient enough too cool the temp down to the ideal.
Dropped temps quickly!
I live on the third floor of an apartment building, and it’s always warm. My tank water was regularly sitting at 79-80. After integrating this to the side of the tank the temps range between 71-73. Our goldfish’s behavior is less erratic now. I’ve seen previous reviews where the buyer had to keep tightening the screw? I haven’t had this issue. Highly recommend!
